Purpose

This site   is intended to share my photographic learning journey  beginning in October 2022.

 

This is not a “traditional” photography blog site. Initially at least, it will not  be a show case for stunning images. As a beginner  that would be arrogant, and clearly I am nowhere near that level. I do want to share the process and learnings I have experienced along the way, and to create a site  that other beginners  can relate to, feel safe in, and perhaps feel able to share their own journey too.

My Vision

 

 I hope this site  will eventually   demonstrate some progress from being a total beginner  to someone who is beginning to get to grips with the  creativity that photography offers.  So it will show the “failures”, or as I prefer to call them the  “learnings” as well as those images I am beginning to be happy with. My blog pages will show my images and describe my personal process during this adventure.

 

This  is a hobby rather than a new career!

 

Eventually I hope this site  will develop  into a web site of images I am happy with, and a place where others starting out can feel they are with a kindred spirit!
